We are home to the AZ Diamond Backs for baseball fans you can't get much better, The Cardinals and Rattlers for football fans, there are the Coyotes for hockey fans, Phoenix Suns for the basketball fan. For college sports enthusiasts we have ASU and the Sun Devils and that is just for starters. The guys aren't the only ones having fun we also have the Mercury WNBA here. To keep up with who is playing where and when check out AZCentral.com.

The Great Outdoors
You aren't moving to Arizona to sit inside. The great outdoors awaits! So let's begin with the Parks and Recreation Dept . Just because this is the desert don't think for a minute there is no water to play on! You can go boating or sailing on Lake Pleasant, or hike the Apache Trail around Lake Roosevelt or boat on Bartlet Lake. Here is a list of all of the Lakes and Resevoirs. The Desert Botanical Gardens are right in the middle of the city, so is the Phoenix Zoo, great for more than just a day trip. They both offer memberships and programs year long, from Jazz in the Gardens, water color classes, bird watch breakfasts, family programs and so much more.
And if all that is not enough to get you excited check out the Arizona Highways Magazine for more great places to go.
